i got a new laptop yesterday and i had the security key then and i connected to the internet using my home broadband but you need a security key to access it.i am connected now but i lost the key and i might need it again > ?? how can i get it again?

i need the password for my mobile broadband.. but i've not set a password before so therefore i don't know it and i've not been given one..is there some sort of default password?what is it D i've emailed 3 but they just give me an automated email ffswhere can i find this password without being charged for ringing them
Downgraded broadband security from WPA to WEP only...?
Now i have problems connecting my macbook to the internet. Is there anyway to connect to the broadband without reverting the change i need this change for certain activities . The problem is that i enter the WEP code when prompted as i connect to the broadband but it says i can't connect. I am using orange broadband.I want to remain on WEP if possible due to it being easier for me to connect things to it. There is no worry of it being hacked since no one lives nearby.
Virgin Broadband security?
Can anyone help. I just got installed virgin media broadband with a netgear wireless router. Problem is that the default WPA PSK is still in place. Does anyone have any simple ideas on how to change the password?If not, is there a simple email address to contact Virgin Media. The link on their site is asking for all sorts of information which I don't know.Thanks.

Specs reviews.cnet.com routers siemens 5880 broadband security 1707 3319 7 30734337.htmlI can't access it with " telnet 192.168.1.1" or typing 192.168.1.1 in my browser..i CAN ping it in cmd " ping 192.168.1.1" How do i " hack" it, so i can forward some ports ?I " CAN" ping it..I didnt say " CAN'T" Im not at work school im home , and i dont thin this router comes with a html interface.I just want to forward some ports so i can download torrents...
Broadband security Virgin Media is it any good ?
I would welcome any body's advise regarding broadband security. I have installed Virgin media and i have the top package i run free software at the moment but Virgin say that i can have there own for free. What i wish to know is would this software be good to run or is is best to leave it as it not very good. Thanks Steve.
