Which foreign language has more significance in a long term career?
I'm a high school pass out and will soon be joining college this summer. I've been asked to choose one foreign language from the choices given below 1. French2. German3. Spanish4. Japanese5. ChineseNow, here's the deal. I'm interested in learning Spanish but at the same time I need to keep in mind which foreign language is more in demand and would have fruitful outcomes in the future.Please, help me out here. Would you panic if you were 20 and didnt know what you wanted to do with your life as far as a career? ?
Im not in college and am not really that book smart and don't know what I want to do. My parents arent pushing me or forcing me to choose anything they just say take my time and it will come. But other family members seem to start to wonder and worry and I can't help but to. I have goals but just don't know what I want to do as a career. I want to run a marathon and also swim a marathon. I also want to get really dedicated and deeper into martial arts and get deep yoga and become more of a health nut along with other things like become more confident and outgoing since i find it hard to make friends or have a conversation I hope this will help change that also i want to read more even tho i hate it and always have i realise its really really important. Those are the only goals I have for my life now but nothing for a career.

Whats the best career path for a muslim woman?
Well as u can read im muslim & im really confused on what i want to be study. i dont want a job that does haram like a nurse assistant she he touches & cleans her patients includin men ..& i cant do that. i really like being around people. & & PLEASE take this question serious & dont say housewife cus i really want to go to college & get a job & im not married so i cant be a housewif lol or dnt say anything stupid o O thank youu Denisedds okay i know nurse assistants dont even go to college. they do sum type of program or take classes. i have a teacher in high school that does a class for nurse assistants. i was just giving an example. instead of sayin sumthin likee that u culd of answering my question instead of tryin to be smart. Am I racist if I think black men R more ambitious & career oriented than white men? White men hate work imo?
As a non white female, I find that black men tend to want to work hard and get somewhere in life, whereas white men often don't. They want to live off their parents or women's inheritances. Thus, as a female, I wouldn't see security in being with then. am i racist?

Can I be a biologist or a scientist without making it a full-time career?
I'm studying economics and political science and am interested in becoming an interpreter or diplomat and author when I finish. But I'm also very curious about science, life sciences in particular. Can I just earn another degree in that field? Does a scientific interest have to be full time and lifelong to be any good? Can't it just be marginal?If you think analysing and predicting the way states, institutions, leadership and their interrelations work is something for children, you obviously don't know what politics is. Every time there's a crisis in society or the world, which is every day now, everyone rushes to these specialists.That's a good question. Eight.And just because politico economic factors are much more abstract and elusive than scientific laws and constants doesn't mean they're not real, or else one system wouldn't lead to prosperity while another would lead to ruin.

I am pretty dead set on majoring in mythology, because ever since I was a little girl I've always been passionate about it. FASHION CAREER CHOICE: I'M AFRAID MY FAMILY WILL HATE/DESPISE ME!?!?
Well, basically, in a nutshell I am an 18 year old male and for about two and a half years now have developed this deep interest and passion for designing.... Both Women & Men's Fashion.There's just something extremely attractive and interesting to me about the fashion art form and process. I absolutely adore women's clothing as much as men's clothing but, obviously, women's clothing fashion is much more fundamental and regarded in the industry.However, I have never mentioned this to any of my Uncles, Mom or Dad, instead I've only told my God Mother. who was a professional tailorer I really want to go and start looking for courses in which I can start developing my sewing & pattern making skills etc... but I am so frightened of the back lash I may get. My family aren't monsters and I love them to pieces, but they are so traditionalist and have always looked at fashion & arts as a second rate prospect and not " true" career paths. I am afraid that, being a man, going into fashion will cause some controversy amongst my family in terms of my sexuality, especially with Mom & Dad and they will just look down on me and despise me. Also, my Dad and Uncles do have, to an extent, STRONG HOMOPHOBIC tendencies and can be VERY predjudice as do most people from that generation. My Mom doesn't as much but she doesn't necessarily agree with the LGBT's either and so I for fact that if I tell them I'm into fashion, they'll automatically assume that their son is Gay... I have questioned my sexuality before and have thought of boys obviously, but I only seem " sexually attracted and comfortable" with women therefore I must be hetero sexual... I am a bit confused It really is a passion of mine fashion and I want to start pursuing but I'm just really scared. I want to go and look for part time courses that will teach me the basics of designing creating etc... but I feel like I am going to have to keep it a secret from my family for quite a while.What should I do? I really need help here because I am quite confused and feel like I have to hold back on my desires and passions just to suit people By the way, should I start LOOKING for courses that will help me???Thank You

What Should My Career Be?
I am 15 and having a tough time thinking about what I wanna be in life. I know I plan on being respectful, nice, hard working and things like that but not career wise. I've been thinking maybe things like professor, teacher, historian particularly military , psychologist but by how much people fascinate me and I'm fairly good with people I am nervous when around people at times, and I'm overall a non social person.
