Question on life, education and career?
Asalamu alaikum, okay sisters, from your point of view what do you think would be best for a Muslim girl? getting married at age 18 and only having college A levels getting married at 21 and having perhaps a degree or at least some qualifications getting married at 23 25 after having worked for perhaps say 2 years but then quiting work in order to be a house wife and having at least a thousand pounds in the bankThe reason for why Im asking this is because anything could go wrong for example, husband could die, husband might divorce and turn out to be so harsh as to throw you out of the house even if your family may live in another city so he might make you live on the street if he is evil and decides to divorce you , husbands house could burn down and all your in laws and your hubby could die in the house fire leaving you homeless., what if your own family just happen to live far awy or happen to die as well? You wouldnt be able to run back to your family for a house and financial aid, And Im sure there are more of these 'worst case scenarios' that could happen. So am always worried about my future. So its clear that it would be VERY USEFUL for a Muslim girl like me to have ENOUGH money in the bank and a degree just in case I may need it one day for some emergency situation. But on the other hand, Islam encourages Muslims to get married as soon as possible i.e. when they are young like age 18 21.However, I personally would think it would be very difficult to be married and have to do all the housework as well as all the revision and work for University. So Im in this situation where I really want to get married after getting a degree however I feel that I need to have a decent amount of money in the bank just in case innit but that would mean that I would have to get married at around age 25 which I feel is getting into middle age and isnt much of a young adult age anymore So yeah, MUSLIM SISTERS what are your plans for the future and how do you deal with security issues like the ones Ive mentioned? And dont just say that the man wil have to pay the 'dowry' cuz in REAL LIFE men could give you money but if they happen to be bad men then they could somehow keep the money and if they dont care then you could also end up on the streets . Yes its complicated Please help, give me realistic suggestions thanks & jazak Allah Khair, wassalam x

Do ladies prefer skinny white men with no education/career or overweight men with education and career?
I'm a woman and to me it seems like young women go more for looks then they do status and power. I have noticed that the men you see in positions of power who have money are usually overweight and bald. The men who are skinny are usually working for minimum wage at verizon wireless or at a cubicle. Seriously, look around and tell me what you think. Most of my male doctors are overweight men. The guys with the small jobs like customer service representatives and lanscapers are usually the skinny ones. I'm interested in what the ladies have to say. What's more important to you a white skinny man minimum wage worker or an overweight white man with status and a career?
