Spilled lemon water on carpet?
I fell asleep on the couch with my lemon water water with REAL lemon juice in the floor.It spilled and I didn't notice it until the next morning.It looks like a bleach stain ? I tried using regular carpet cleaner but it still looks the same.I am a renter and these carpets are old as it is,I don't want to be responsible for replacing the carpet when I move,how to get it up out?
How do I remove unusual carpet stain?
I placed carpet protectors under legs of dining table to protect carpet. Thoseprotectors were brown and lined with brown carpet on the bottom. I've discoveredthat I now have circular brown dye stains all over my light beige carpet as theresult of apparent transfer from the protectors Foam carpet cleaner will notremove the stains. Anyone face this dilemma? Suggestions solutionsgreatly appreciated. Thanks.

walls have stains above all the baseboards. and carpet has dark patches going across the floor in all the rooms. Chimney guy told me not to burn candles. I told chimney guy I don't. I do not burn candles maybe once a year for one hour. He said that the chimney is ok. The oil maintenance guy said that the oil burner is ok Please advise me I am lost for words and need your help. I seem to have accidentally smeared a bit of black eyeliner pencil on my carpet whilst hoovering. I've used carpet cleaner on the area and although it's no longer a jet black mark, it is still noticeable on my cream carpet any suggestions??

What colors go with DARK woodwork, white walls, and beige carpet?
I live in an apartment, I can't pain the walls a funky color, can't paint the woodwork baseboards, windowsills, etc which is EVERYWHERE and has been stained a very dark shade of brown , and I can't pull up the beige carpet. I love rustic looking wood furniture and painted wood furniture. I love hanging groups of small rustic mirrors or picture frames together.. throw pillows with decorative fabric are awesome. I can't figure out what colors to use, though. I have a couple of chairs I'd like to paint different colors that " pop" . My design style is very eclectic.I just can't figure out what to do with my current situation Curtains are a big thing too not sure what color to go with. I'm thinking of something sheer, but still with color to it. I'm not a fan of blinds, because my cat IS and they'll be trashed in a day P

We have bright red carpeting in our formal living room. Although it is in great shape, and the walls are currently " off white" , we are about to put our home on the market. I'm basically not sure if I should just re paint the walls to make the room look better or if it would be a good investment to re floor and re paint the whole room. What would be a good color to paint the walls, or should I just opt to completely re do the whole room? Thanks
