How do I add a switch for a new ceiling fan at an existing end-of-run switch?
The fan is installed already, and fishing wire is not a problem. Just need to know how to wire jumpers? the new switch in. Thanks in advance for any help
Would it be unsafe to turn on a whole house ceiling fan that has not been on in about 30 years?

we are building a house to sell....so simply from a design perspective, what looks better for a tray ceiling? inside or outside of tray having potlights? and a ceiling fan or chandelier....its a master bedroom. just looking for your preference of what looks good. I have always felt ceiling fans were big and clunky but the rest of the group here thinks the fan is the proper thing to put in.

My fan works when I turn the room switch on but the light on the fan does not work. I toggle the chain on and off and still wont turn on. What could possibly be wrong with it? I just moved in this new house so I assume it was working before.
Trying to change a ceiling fan pull chain switch...?
Please bare with me because I know close to nothing about electrician work. So, obviously there are 4 wires.. 2 black, 1 red, and 1 gray. The 2 black and 1 red are coming from a little black box. and the gray wire is coming from elsewhere by itself. On the pull chain switch it has L, 1, 2, & 3. My problem is that I can't figure out the combination of which wires go where. I didn't think to record where each wire came from when I took them out of the broken switch. Please help Thanks.
Stability of ceiling fan, worried it is unsafe?
Our house is fairly old, and it has a ceiling fan in the living room.Over the past few years, it has begun to sink lower. It appears to be only supported by one.. thing. It wobbles when the fans is set on high, and if you turn it on high from not moving at all, the whole thing rotates.I'm worried that one day it will be turned on and crash down.How would I go about taking it down? I don't care if I have to get a saw and cut the thing down, I just don't want a heavy fan falling down breaking everything and or hurting my dog.
