Hunter ceiling fan lights do not work, fan does?
I was replacing my bulbs in the fan, one was working, the second just loose, tightened and it came on, the third, i tried to see if it was loose, and noticed it was blown, but when I moved it, it popped, and the other 2 lights went out. Fan works perfect, took down to check wiring above, no problems. Could it be the sockets all went bad at once????? Pull switch? I use a remote and never touch the switch. any input would be great, thanks

Wiring for ceiling fan light combo?
I have a pull chain light that broke. I would like to replace it with a pull chain fan light combo without adding any new wiring. Can I do that or do you need more electrical lines? Climbing around in my cramped, hot attic crawl space just doesn't sound fun.

How do i wire a ceiling fan light combo?
I have a hunter type t fan and I am trying to rewire it, but I cannot get it right. there are 3 wires coming from my ceiling, blue, black, and red and then on my fan 2 black wires and one white. I have tried several combos with no luckthere are two switches on my wall, one for fan one for lightalso two green wires from my fan onto another wire from the ceiling which i assume is the grounded wire. I know that one is rightok so there are two switches on my wall, the left one previously controlled the light and has two black wires connecting to it, the one on the right controlled the fan which has a black and red wire. The same fan and light were previously up, but I had to take it down because the fan itself had come loose and the wires disconnected on their own so I did not get to see the setup. The wires coming from my ceiling are faded, but from what i can tell it looks like a black red and white, with the grounded wire, which is just copper, in total there are 4 from the ceiling. On my fan itself there are 2 green which connect to the grounded plain copper wire for sure, then a black wire, white wire, and a black white striped wire, so 5 in all. I know for a FACT that the two green from the fan connect to the grounded copper wire in the ceiling.

Why won't my ceiling fan light work?
I've googled but there's not a lot of info. It just started flickering once and making weird noises and then it stopped working completely. The plastic thing that the light bulb screws into is loose. How do I fix this? Do I need a new ceiling fan or should I just hire someone to fix it?

Can a marijuana plant under a regular ceiling fan light.?

Why does my ceiling fan light have a max watt of 40?
We recently bought a Harbor Breeze 52" Tiempo Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan from Lowes. The maximum watt bulbs for the fan are 40. The lights are so dim however, that we had to put in 60's just to get some light into the room. When we turn the light switch on, the bulbs are brighter for about 2 seconds and then dim back down to the same level that we had when we had 40 what bulbs. Is there a restrictor that is preventing us from getting more light from the fan? It's too dark Is there a work around for this?

How to I rewire a hampton Bay ceiling fan light kit(pull chain switch)?
I have a Hampton bay ceiling fan with a light kit and it works great except the ceiling fan does not work. The lights work on the ceiling fan. Someone pulled too hard on the pull chain and now I have 4 wires and not sure where they go on the pull chain switch. The wires are black, white, blue, and yellow. The pull chain switch has L, 1, 2, and 3. Can someone please tell me which wires go to which number? The type of switch I have is a zing ear pullchain switch ZE 208S. Thank you it is controlled by the wall switch not a remote control...i tried the website but it only taked me to home depot...there is no red wire at the wall switch, only black and white and the ground, everything is wired correctly except for the pull chain switch that came apart...

Why doesnt my ceiling fan light work?
My fan works when I turn the room switch on but the light on the fan does not work. I toggle the chain on and off and still wont turn on. What could possibly be wrong with it? I just moved in this new house so I assume it was working before.

Why do my ceiling fan LIGHTS turn on by themselves?
Last night I woke up when my lights turned on. What could have caused this? When I turn them on I have to pull the chain cord that dingles down. Is there another way it could turn on? Thanks to all Oh yeah I forgot, I know for a fact my house is not haunted so that can't be it.

My Ceiling Fan Light Won't Work?
The light bulbs work and aren't dead or anything. I used to be able to turn the light on, have it stay on for about five minutes, before it suddenly turned off. Normally, I just ignored it and left my lamp light on, but the bulb stopped working today. And, today I found out that my ceiling fan light won't stay on for more than two seconds. The ceiling fan light used to work perfectly, but over the summer, it started acting up where it would sometimes turn on randomly and never stay on for a certain amount of time. Is it a short circuit or something? Is there a way to fix this without getting a new one or anything?

I install new ceiling fan, light was on but no power for fan?
I installed new ceiling fan outside back of porch...Everything hooked and I pulled chain to turn light on. it was light on then pulled chain for fan to turn power on. No power for fan or fan wont move at all. Motor inside was nothing after turn it on. The wired I hooked up was black to black wire, white to white and green to ground. Seems like I dont miss anything with wires....but Id like to put this question here to see if I miss anything to make fan power on before I return ceiling fan to Lowes. Fan cost $109.99
