Hunter ceiling fan lights do not work, fan does?
I was replacing my bulbs in the fan, one was working, the second just loose, tightened and it came on, the third, i tried to see if it was loose, and noticed it was blown, but when I moved it, it popped, and the other 2 lights went out. Fan works perfect, took down to check wiring above, no problems. Could it be the sockets all went bad at once????? Pull switch? I use a remote and never touch the switch. any input would be great, thanks

Remote ceiling fan lights not working?
We recently bought a house that has a remote controlled ceiling fan light fixture in one of the bed rooms. It worked fine for about a month, then the lights stopped working. They won't respond to the remote when I try to turn them on, although the fan still responds. When unscrewing the light bulbs when I inspected it, I noticed that when only one CFL was left connected, it flickered dimly. Any suggestions? Is it a case of needing to take the thing off the ceiling to find the receiver to the remote, and see if that's what went?Tried incandescent bulbs, made no difference. It's not on a dimmer.

My ceiling fan lights are not working!?
Hi I was trying to change the bulbs on my ceiling fan. I removed the bowl light fixture that covers the bulbs and when I did that I accidentally either disconnected or tore the white and black wires connecting the lights. Does anyone know if there is anyway I can fix this myself of if I need to hire an electrician to fix the wires?

Why do my ceiling fan lights keep flashing?
I keep on screwing them in, and they keep on unscrewing all by themselves.

Why do my ceiling fan LIGHTS turn on by themselves?
Last night I woke up when my lights turned on. What could have caused this? When I turn them on I have to pull the chain cord that dingles down. Is there another way it could turn on? Thanks to all Oh yeah I forgot, I know for a fact my house is not haunted so that can't be it.

Small problem with wiring ceiling fan light?
I've been looking online but I'm not very knowledgeable on this so bear with me please...The pull chain on my ceiling fan came off. I unscrewed the bottom of my ceiling fan where the lighting stuff is and found that I couldn't get to the bit of chain left. I had to break off a piece of plastic just a cosmetic thing I'm sure as it was the bit that would stick out of the metal casing and where a knob would screw on to make it look nice and was able to get to the chain. Now, that's all good as I found something to extend it with, the only thing is I don't know how to get the lights to work. I tried my best not to mess with the wiring at all, but two of the wire nuts fell off before I could determine what they were connected to.I just want to know what needs to be connected.I see a white wire that runs down through the top of the fan and is held with a wire nut to 4 other whites which go to each light. There is a black wire paired with each white one but they are loose and not connected to anything thinking this might be where one of the 2 fallen wire nuts goes? .There's also a black wire that comes down from the top of the fan that I assume is the hot wire. That is connected to another black which goes into the piece where the pull chain for the light is. Besides that black wire, there are 2 short wires coming out of that piece, a blue one and a red. On the piece there is a tiny number by each of the 3 wires. 1 is where the red is, 2 is blue, and by the black is what looks like an " L." Sorry I don't know much about this and so hopefully the way I worded it isn't too confusing. I just want to be careful so I thought it best to ask around before trying things out. Oh, and the fan works it's just the lights that I can't figure out. I just don't know what wires should go together. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.Oh, forgot to mention that there is one switch operating the thing. So normally to use I just flip the switch on and then use the pull chains to either turn on the fan, light, or both. Thanks for the help so far. Ok, so I tie the 4 short black wires the ones paired with the white ones that go to each of the 4 lights together? Do they need to go with the black from the ceiling as well? Also, I don't see green but then again I only unscrewed the very bottom with the lighting kit. What about the red and blue? I know they are for the lights, but I don't know what to do with them.

My Ceiling Fan Light Won't Work?
The light bulbs work and aren't dead or anything. I used to be able to turn the light on, have it stay on for about five minutes, before it suddenly turned off. Normally, I just ignored it and left my lamp light on, but the bulb stopped working today. And, today I found out that my ceiling fan light won't stay on for more than two seconds. The ceiling fan light used to work perfectly, but over the summer, it started acting up where it would sometimes turn on randomly and never stay on for a certain amount of time. Is it a short circuit or something? Is there a way to fix this without getting a new one or anything?

I install new ceiling fan, light was on but no power for fan?
I installed new ceiling fan outside back of porch...Everything hooked and I pulled chain to turn light on. it was light on then pulled chain for fan to turn power on. No power for fan or fan wont move at all. Motor inside was nothing after turn it on. The wired I hooked up was black to black wire, white to white and green to ground. Seems like I dont miss anything with wires....but Id like to put this question here to see if I miss anything to make fan power on before I return ceiling fan to Lowes. Fan cost $109.99

Harbor breeze ceiling fan light doesn't work?
remote control fan light will not work by it or by pulling on chainThe fan is about 2 years old and everything did work. Then the light would only work sometimes, then just quit. Wall switch is on, it has a new battery in remote & new light bulbs. It has no loose wires.

New Ceiling Fan lights won't work after I use manual on/off 'pull' switch?
One day when I was using my ceiling fan, I wanted to keep the fan running but turn the lights off so I decided to use the 'pulll' switch on the actual fan itself to turn the lights off. It gave a sort of " half pull" like it temporarily got stuck in between me pulling it down and then none of the lights worked after that. I bought new lights and when I gave electricity to the ceiling fan they worked but as soon as I tried the same thing, by using the 'pull' switch not any of the on off switches on the walls all of them stopped working. Is the ceiling fan bad, could I have it fixed or is this one of those situations I'd need a new one?

Ceiling Fan Light Wires?
So I want to replace the light fixture on my ceiling fan because the glass shades clip in, and one of them is broken. Supposedly they do not make the clip anymore only the screw in way. As I unscrewed the fixture to get to the lights, I ran into this very weird clip socket plug thing. Instead of twisty caps to connect wires as I have seen and done before, the wires had these plastic caps that plugged into the corresponding wires in the fan. I tried removing them, and the wires came apart, leaving me with the metal wires at the end of the fixture, but the plastic plug thing is still attached to the wires on the fan.I have no idea what this is, why anyone would use these plug things instead of the twisty caps, or how to take them off so I can get to the metal end of the wires on the fan so I can install it the way I know how. Can anyone give me some help or more insight to what I've gotten myself into?
