What are the electrical requirements to put a ceiling fan into a bedroom?
The house is over 50 years old, and has a ceiling fan in the kitchen. But my father says that the bedroom does not have the electrical requirements for a ceiling fan. Does this make sense?

How do i wire a ceiling fan light combo?
I have a hunter type t fan and I am trying to rewire it, but I cannot get it right. there are 3 wires coming from my ceiling, blue, black, and red and then on my fan 2 black wires and one white. I have tried several combos with no luckthere are two switches on my wall, one for fan one for lightalso two green wires from my fan onto another wire from the ceiling which i assume is the grounded wire. I know that one is rightok so there are two switches on my wall, the left one previously controlled the light and has two black wires connecting to it, the one on the right controlled the fan which has a black and red wire. The same fan and light were previously up, but I had to take it down because the fan itself had come loose and the wires disconnected on their own so I did not get to see the setup. The wires coming from my ceiling are faded, but from what i can tell it looks like a black red and white, with the grounded wire, which is just copper, in total there are 4 from the ceiling. On my fan itself there are 2 green which connect to the grounded plain copper wire for sure, then a black wire, white wire, and a black white striped wire, so 5 in all. I know for a FACT that the two green from the fan connect to the grounded copper wire in the ceiling.

Wiring for ceiling fan light combo?
I have a pull chain light that broke. I would like to replace it with a pull chain fan light combo without adding any new wiring. Can I do that or do you need more electrical lines? Climbing around in my cramped, hot attic crawl space just doesn't sound fun.

Why my ceiling fan takes 15-30 min to start after power ON?
I have changed capacitor of my ceiling fan. It worked normal for 3 days. After wards, whenever I turn it ON, it takes 15 30min to start and once started, it works normal. Is it the problem of capacitor or something else? This happens only when starting the fan after long time when its winding is cool .

How do I wire the light switch after removing a ceiling fan and replacing it with a ceiling light?
Hi,I am replacing the ceiling fan with just a ceiling light. The ceiling light has 3 wires, black, white and green I assume it's the ground wire . When I wire everything together, the light switch would not turn off the light. The switch has 5 wires 2 blacks one from the light and one from the power source , 2 white one from the light and one from the power source and one red. How do I wire the switch to make it work? Many thanks for your help So, Rick, what should I do with the red wire. It was coming from the previous fan and was connected to the light switch previously. The two whites were connected together, but not to the light switch. The two blacks were connected together, then to the switch at one screw. The red was connected to the light switch at another screw.

Why does the remote control on my ceiling fan only work after 4:00 pm.?
I have had a ceiling fan with a remote control for the past 6 years. Click remote to turn on, click to adjust speeds etc. For the past 6 months the remote on this fan only works after 4 00 pm. This fan & light are on their own light switch but nothing works until after 4 00pm. This is very frustrating, i don't understand why it doesn't work 24 hours like it used to. How to wire a ceiling fan - I'd like for the 2 switches to work the light and fan independently?
I have a wall switch set up 2 switches that should work the fan light. There is another switch above these two which is supposed to work the closet light, but has somehow been connected to the fan light setup. I pulled out the switch box and found 2 bundles of wire. One bundle has a red, black, white, and bare wire. The other bundle has a black, white, and bare wire. The single switch above has a black wire in both top and bottom holes and the whites are wirenutted together. How do I set this up so that all of the switches work independently? Also, the switches are the model that have spring loaded holes for the wires to enter on top and bottom & green screws on top left.
