Switch for Harbor Breeze ceiling fan does not work...please help!?
I had someone install a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan for me today and after he left I discovered that the pull chain switch does not work. It does not even " click' as the pull cord for the lights will do. That one works fine, by the way. Is it a wiring problem or is the cord stuck? The fan does turn on and off with the wall switch, so the fan does work just not the pull cord that turns off on and controls the speed. It is the Harbor Breeze Bella Vista model number E BE44MWW5C fan. Thanks in advance

I have a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan and have been very satisfied with it My question is Where can I find a repacement globe. The one on my fan fell off . I have been to Lowe's and Home Depot. Since Lowe's sells these fans, I figured they would be able to help me. Not How silly of me....They said go to the Harbor Breeze website. Sounds like a good suggestion, but when I Google it or Yahoo it, I do not find a website....The opening where the globe goes is 10 inches. Anyone have a suggestion about where to find a globe? HELP

This is more than less informative than a question about Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan Remote operation.?
I had recently installed my first Harbor Breeze Remote controlled ceiling fan in the living room. Last week I installed a bigger, nicer, more luxurious model of the same manufacturer in the one remaining guest bedroom that did not have one. We were totally beside ourselves when we noticed that the fan in the living room was on high and the light on as well when we had not turned it on at all. Noticed the same in the bedroom with the new fan. This went on for several days. We were sure we had ghosts that liked our new fans. We were ready to summon the Ghost Busters.After a bit of reasoning we figured out that both fans remotes are identical, having a tiny little blue micro switch with four white on off switches on it inside the battery compartment. Both fan remotes are set the same, as they normally are set at the manufacturer. Very simply, if you are lucky enough to read this BEFORE you install your fan, you have to reset just one of the switches to a different position, so that no two remotes in your home are on the same settings code . You must do this both inside the remote and the black box that has the little antenna attached to it up next to the ceiling. We are looking for the manual, so that we can post pix for you, however, don't have it yet. As hinted in the last paragraph, make sure that none of your other electronic devices that have remotes, ie other ceiling fans or garage remotes have these type of settings, if they do, note their settings and set the fan you are working on accordingly so that it's code DOES NOT MATCH any other device other than the fan you are working on. fan blade mounting bracket, just snapped in half..fatigue ? Lowes has replacement brackets, however the holes do not line up...Home Depot is not any better ? where do you find replacement parts ??? Mike

How can I program my remote control for my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan?
I own a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan, and it is controlled mainly by remote control. In order to turn the light or fan on, I need to use the remote the wall switch only controls if there is power going to it or not.Recently, I noticed the battery on my remote was dying it has a little blinking indicator for low battery life . So, absent mindendly of the consequences, I changed the battery. Now the remote won't work at all. Even though the numbers and such show up the same as usual, the fan unit doesn't respond. Do I need to reprogram the remote after switching the battery? And how would I go about doing that?The Control is a Harbor Breeze LCD Remote Control, if that helps.
