Homemade christmas gift ideas?
I want to make my boyfriend something for Christmas. It's our second christmas together and i want it to be smething cute but special, yet also apprpriate since we are both 16 lol. any ideas?

I know how to make them, but I am looking for a website or some other inspiration for decorating them. i.e. glass or stone imbedded in them or writing on them? I need pattern ideas.
Shrubs for christmas gifts for winter planting?
What are some decent native shrubs that i can get my mom for christmas that are ok to be planted in the winter? natives preffered.. woody plants preferred.. medium shrubs, large shrubs, small trees.. located in southeastern pennsylvania. partial to low sun levels.. well drained soils.. currently have viburnums, dogwoods, redbuds, rododendrons, pinus strobus.. surrounding forrest is hickory, poplar, maple.. and plenty of rosa multaflora responce to answer 1.. thanks. i actually picked out all the shrubs thus far. im a landscape architect. i know its not the best time of year, which is why im trying to find the better ones to plant. i remember that there are some plants that do better in winter plantings, but i cant remember my schoolings answer 2 blueberries is a great suggestion unfortunately the only varieties i can find are all bred for their fruit production, and not either a for looks, or b a true native strain. thanks for the suggestions though
What's a good toolset to buy for christmas gift?
I'm trying to pick out a tools combo for my bf. He planning to use them around the house, should prob. have drill, screwdriver, saw, sander and i don't know what else he'd need. I'm trying to get a good set that worth the price. Maybe lifetime warranty would be good too. I'm looking at couple different brand makita, craftsman, dewalt, firestorm and different set, but not sure which to pick. Any suggestion would be great. I never buy tools before so not really sure what to look for. Cordless maybe? Any ideas for homemade christmas gifts?
I am planning on sewing some gifts for christmas.I know its early, but I have a lot of people to make gifts for, so I need to start early. I'm really stuck on the gifts for the girls ages 2, 8 ,10, & 11 I have ruled out purses for them they aren't the kind that would carry a purse around ..So what else could I do? I'd rather not make them clothes. I thought of wristlets or change purses, but I know that would just get tossed in the toy box lol. Any creative ideas? I do not have a " green thumb" . I only know a little about what some of the popular flowers look like. With that said, I don't know what type of plant to get a colleague as a " Secret Santa" gift. Christmas gift help!?
Hi, my boyfriend is a keen diy'er.I am thinking of buying a circular saw but dont know if it will be a waste of money, he already has a grinder and a miter saw but dont know if he will get any use out of this, does a circular saw do anything that a mitre or grinder wont.I have not got a clue as i am a woman ha ha.I have bought him plenty of other gifts this will be just an extra one He is going to be flagging the garden soon and i am sure he has mentioned a circular saw but would be unsure what use it would be if he has a grinder?
