Where/how to hang up christmas lights in room?
I just got a 25 ft. string of 100 lights for my room. I have about 20 of those scotch removable hooks. Any ideas? This is basically the layout of my room coloritbeautiful.com images pic whitepurple6.jpgwith my closet on the wall opposite of the windows.

I have a cord with lights and one side has the holes part that you plug a metal prong part into but then the other side is put into the wall jack it has the metal prongs in it .How do I what do I conect into the one with holes ?

Have a strand of lights, multicolored, with numerous flashing options...every 4th light is lit but the rest are out Help Guess they technically arent burnt out...originally had all lights off, but was able to get the strand that has the yellow lights on.
How to fix Christmas lights ?
I have a triple string of maybe 60 indoor Christmas lights with a controller. So there's basically a string of 20 red lights in series, a string of blue and one of green, though some of the lamp holders have 3 wires. The lights are push fit and hard to remove without damage.The blue and green strings have quit.I presume one or more lamps in each failed string have blown, or are loose.Is there any better strategy than just removing and testing each bulb in turn ?I started a binary search with a meter, but it's hard to hold the probes in he holders.Probably quicker to just do it instead of writing this ... fixed them, using binary search and swapping bulbs.Yes, it would have been much easier to just buy a new string, though maybe not quicker if you factor in time taken to go to the shop and buy them.. Also, I don''t like tossing stuff in the garbage that I could fix, partly for environmental reasons.
