Some tips for lighting a christmas tree please?
I have 5 strands of colored lights to put on this 6.5 foot artificial tree. My mom said it would be enough, but the first time I tried putting them up I didn't even use up half of tree before there were no lights left Frustrated, I took them down and tried again, spacing them out more. Once again, half of the tree was light less by the time i was done. I promised my mom I would get this done before she gets home... please some tips or something that would help me... i'm losing it over here, i'm not a very patient person lol.

Keeping Christmas Trees on My Deck?
My family it's a bit weird, but I am keeping my Christmas tree in a bucket of water on my deck, just to see how long I could keep it alive. About 4 years ago my apartment with 2 units, upper and lower were fumigated for termites with a tent. Now, my landlord is going to have a " maintenance" fumigation without any tents, just spraying. Therefore, I was told that all furniture must be pushed toward the center of the room and my pets should be removed. I don't know how long it will last, and I assume they're just spraying and then leaving and would take a few hours. However, this time I'm going to have a Christmas tree in the apartment and I was wondering if I should remove it, along with my other plants? Or should it be ok since there's no tent this time?
