Should I still use a stationary exercise bike with a slightly swollen Achilles tendon?
I've absolutely no idea how I damaged my Achilles tendon if indeed I did. My GP stated that she thinks it is slightly damaged and that I should take ibuprofen. She advised to go back if it worsened. It had gotten a bit better, but since I used the stationary bike without trainers they were in the wash silly I know a couple of days ago, it has gotten slightly bad again. I don't want to bother her with this problem again.Should I be using a stationary exercise bike with a swollen tendon? I don't want it to snap. Quite obviously I will wear trainers this time
How will riding a stationary exercise bike impact my body? ?
I decided today that I want to start using the stationary bike in my garage to get back into shape but I am unsure of how it will impact my body. I am a female and 16 years old. I am rather short and well proportioned however I would like to rid some extra fat on my stomach sides. Will riding the bike help me accomplish my goal? Also, I ride the stationary on low intensity. Will this make my legs bigger or help trim some of the e tea fat I have on my legs thighs? Thank you
Is there a way to search for a stationary exercise bike for people over 6"0?
I'm 6" 3' and looking to purchase an exercise bike for my house.I'm looking for something basic and not looking to spend over $200. I'd prefer it to be pretty quiet as well. I've found some nice ones on Amazon.com but upon reading carefully through the reviews each one has complaints that they are not suitable for anyone over 6" 0'Most exercise bike websites display a maximum weight capacity but I can't seem to find any that reveal a maximum height. Is there any online store that displays this information? Do any tall people have any recommendations on an inexpensive bike that I could choose?Thank You.

How do I take the pedals off a stationary exercise bike?
I need to take the pedals off one bike and put them on another because I refuse to pay $25 for replacement straps. I just need the footholds themselves, but if I have to take off the whole metal bar, that's okay too. It looks like it's just a screw that you'd use a wrench on right next to the foothold but it refuses to budge...Okay, so the left pedal itself goes counterclockwise. Does the nut go that direction too? I really can't see the treads on the arm...and I broke my wrench....

I have a stationary bike and it recently started squeaking so i used vegetable oil on the " gears" im not really sure how to describe it but when i used the bike it started heating up and it made the room smell like someone fried something in there. I'm about to have another knee surgery and I know that using exercise bikes are very good for rebuilding the knee, but I'm low on dough. I was wondering if I could somehow take apart an old bike I have and use it? Would you recommend this? If so, what do I do to make it?K then.
