So I plan on sitting my turkey in cold water in my sink all night. But I don't want to stay up to change it every 30 minutes. The top is exposed also. Is this bad?Any tips would be good.
Thanksgiving cooking help?!?
So I'm making a side dish for thanksgiving but the oven is full with things already baking at 350 degrees. My recipe calls for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Since the oven temp is set lower, how much longer should I bake these? They're potatoes by the way Thank you and have a great thanksgiving
Thanksgiving disaster?
I was given responsibility for cooking for Thanksgiving, which I started this morning. I left it cooking in the kitchen to watch some TV. While there I felt tired, so I decided to shut my eyes for a minute. Next thing I know the smoke detector is going off The turkey burned in the oven, the vegetables boiled for too long on the stove, you get the idea. Now the rest of my family is about to show up and I have nothing prepared well. What should I do?
