Easy to prepare thanksgiving appetizers?
Well Im a 15 year old guy who likes to cook, and I decided that this years I was making Pumpkin Pie to add to my mom's thanksgiving spread. But even though my mom has the dinner down, she doesnt really have anything to hold off that thanksgiving hunger. So is there anything that would be easy for me to make, or even buy frozen from a supermarket that would be good as a thanksgiving appetizer, or finger food?

Now that it's November I'm starting to plan the Thanksgiving menu. I need an appetizer that the family can pick at while dinner is being made. The only recipe's I've found so far are for different soups or salads, which are all sit down kind of foods. I need some kind of finger food that the kids can pick at. I am cooking a smaller meal this year that will likely consist of a roasted chicken, wild rice pilaf, corn on the cob, asparagus with hollandaise sauce or string bean casserole, steamed baby carrots with butter and ginger, tossed salad, and yeast rolls. The menu is not set in stone yet, but that is the current plan.We normally do not have appetizers for Thanksgiving, but I would like to serve something to tide people over until dinner is ready this year. The only thing that really comes to mind is stuffed mushrooms. Anyone have any other good ideas for a Thanksgiving appetizer?Thanks
Thanksgiving appetizer recipe?
A friend of mine does very simple and yummy appetizers by taking a thin piece of deli meat turkey, ham etc etc , putting some cream cheese on it and either a pickle or jalapeno on top and wraps the meat around it. It is yummy, but I would like to try to put something else in that " wrap" i would keep the meat and creem cheese. What sounds good to put inside that little wrap?Or do you have an recipes that would be just as easy to make last minute thing.. ?really... i need something i can put together in like 10 minutes no baking, and i just need ideas of what to put on the cream cheese inside the wrap. keep stuff coming please

Thanksgiving appetizers?
Going to a party, I need to bring appetizers... 20 30 people will be there and that does include kids ranging in different ages. Its the saturday after thanksgiving, I have to work friday so easy easy prep would be great.I do plan a veggie platter and a fruit platter. I should have stated that. I am looking for something semi fancy... I am good at improvising and a whiz in the kitchen. Its just not having the day off in between the holidays is freaking me out. I am doing thanksgiving at my home this year as well.

I've been invited to a friend's house for Thanksgiving and I'm in charge of desserts and appetizers. I have the desserts covered, but am having a difficult time coming up with appetizers. They need to travel easily because I have to drive about three hours to get to her home. Any ideas would be very helpful Thank you and happy holidays
