I'm 25 and have FINALLY been allowed to bring something to Thanksgiving and Christmas this year I'm a great cook, but always am in charge of rolls or ice Question is, I need a new dish that I can start making from now on...ie green bean casserole, corn casserole etc. Something original and not TOO time consuming or difficult, but something that will be a big hit.

ok this is my 1st time doing a thanksgiving dinner on my own. anyways i have 7 people coming to dinner i have a 12 pound turkey do you think that enough? and im gunna have mashed potato's.any good ways of making turkey gravey??and should i have whole cerneal corn or creamed corn?and any good recipes for stuffing??and what else should i have with it?i also have cranberry's what kinda drink should i have? milk, kool aid, pop?

Some Last minute Thanksgiving question?
This may sound retarded...but this is my first Thanksgiving cooking myself. I don't know how to make sweet pot. I just bought the canned ones to make it easier, but what do I add in it to make it taste really good. I am having my bfs fam and mine over. I need something tasty...I know its out of the can, but help me make it taste yummy You guys are awesome...thank you
