Is there a family budget program for MAC that helps remind you when your bills are dues?
im using mac os X 10.4 and would like a family home budget app that will either remind me via email or some other method that the electric bills is due on so and so date at that it is so and so dollars. or that the car insurance is due and it is so and so dollars. i would like it to be an actual app that i can open and edit the dates and amounts and enter that the bill has been paid or what not, not just simply a reminder . if i can use the program to pay the bills directly from that program, even better but not necessary.most programs i have seen and tried want you to set it up with a checking account and want to know what check number you have used to pay so and so bills. well 100 % of all of my family budgeting is done via internet and i donet even have a check book. so i wouldnt have check numbers to enter.if you know of a program, even if you use it on PC, please, let me know, maybe i can find the mac version. thanks.some guy named mike

I live in Ecuador south america and I am moving to Calgary Canada on 2012. I am a manager at my own company, but I usually did sales jobs. I am moving with my whole family me 30 years old , my wife 29 years old and two kids 3 and 1 years old . I would like to kinow, if detailed better, which is teh average budget to live at calgary. Our President has ordered his cabinet to cut a whopping $100 million from our $3.5 trillion federal budget I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget. I spend about $2000 a month on groceries, household expenses, medicine, utilities, taxes etc, but it's time to get out the budget cutting ax, go line by line through my expenses, and cut back I'm going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio 1 35,000 of my total budget. After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $2000 a month I'm going to have to cut that number by six cents Yes, I'm going to have to get by with $1999.94, but that's what sacrifice is all about. feminists wouldn't haha would you? even if you don't have children yet? old fashioned 20 years old Latin American man. provided that the husband makes enough income. the housewife could have her own income producing assets some economic independence so she can take care of her family. she could have time for her hobbies too insted of being stuck in the rat race daily.housewives work hard too, even if they don't bring income, it still represents money and even more well being .That's the most I deside the day I get married, seeing my future kids being taken care of by their mother most of the time insted of strangers taking care of them, coming home and knowing that somebody that loves you is waiting for you at home with your children, but in my country most women aren't interested even if there's enough money. I'd like my future wife to have her own money if possible even if it's a home based business or invesments. I know women need to study something and get ahead but I think HOME is a PRIORITY.she wouldn't just sit at home, she could do her HOBBIES also, mixture of activities
HOW MUCH TO GIVE INTO FAMILY BUDGET?
Me and my girlfriend discussed family budget. We both earn around 1500$ and we don't have any special financial problems. My opinion is that each partner should invest certain percentage of wage let say 50 % for common needs, like rent, electricity, phone bills, some 20 % should go into long term savings and remaining 30 % percent would be free to spare. She said that is not good, everything is common. I asked her if then I should ask her permission for buying me book, worth 15$. She said that I should definitely tell her after buying. I mean, I would ask her before if I would like to buy something for 50 $ but reporting everything to partner seems to much. How you manage such things? Thank you very much.
